Nourishing Self Touch:

A supported practice fortnight

ONLINE WORKSHOP

We will come together for three 90-minute sessions, each a week apart.  Beginning with the core practice of the Wheel of Consent, 'Waking the Hands', we first bring aliveness and sensitivity to our sense of touch, before using this simple, solo, clothed, nonsexual touch practice to nurture and nourish ourselves.

Facilitated by Rupert James Alison.  There will be some simple instruction; embodied solo practice; time for sharing with the group, and a simple practice to explore at home during the week.  This workshop may interest you if:

  • You are missing touch during lockdown, and would like to be guided and supported through a simple and nurturing self-touch practice.

  • You are looking for a simple but powerful practice to help self-regulate during challenging times.

  • You would like to learn the core solo practice of the Wheel of Consent and how to apply it more deeply.

  • You would enjoy the benefits of a group and a guided practice week, to help support your self-nurturing practice.

We will be offering the workshop on the Zoom platform.  Shortly before each workshop, we will send out joining instructions to participants, which will include details of how to access Zoom.
